Our Classes
At Ursuline Primary, we believe every child is unique. That’s why we provide personalized support and the right tools to help every learner reach their full potential—from well-equipped classrooms and modern learning resources to individual mentorship and hands-on experiences.
CBC To CBE
In 2017, the government introduced the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC), a learner-centered approach focused on developing critical thinking, creativity, and practical skills.
on April 24th, 2025, the Ministry of Education officially transitioned from the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) to a more refined and practical model— Competency-Based Education (CBE).
Key Features of CBE
Nutritional guidance
Key Features of CBC: Learner-Centered Approach: Every child’s unique abilities, interests, and talents are recognized and nurtured.
Hands-On Learning: Lessons are practical and activity-based, encouraging students to experiment, explore, and solve real-life problems.
Core Competencies: CBC builds essential competencies such as critical thinking, communication, collaboration, digital literacy, self-efficacy, and creativity.
Values and Life Skills: Beyond academics, learners develop important values and life skills like responsibility, respect, and adaptability.
Continuous Assessment: Progress is measured through regular assessments and observation, allowing teachers and parents to support learners’ growth effectively.
At Ursuline Primary, we embrace CBC because we believe education should prepare learners for a dynamic, ever-changing world. Our teachers are trained to guide students through interactive lessons and personalized support, helping each child discover their strengths and build confidence in their abilities.
Spiritual Well-being
At Ursuline School, we believe true education nurtures not only the mind and body but also the spirit. We recognize that spiritual well-being forms the foundation of strong character, inner peace, and a sense of purpose in life.
Rooted in Christian values, our school partners closely with the church to guide learners in developing faith, integrity, and compassion. Regular chapel services, Bible study, and pastoral care are an integral part of school life, providing a safe space where children can reflect, ask questions, and grow in their relationship with God.
The church community takes this responsibility seriously. Our dedicated chaplains and spiritual mentors walk alongside learners, supporting them through life’s challenges and celebrating their milestones. By weaving faith into daily routines and activities, we help each child build resilience, hope, and a clear moral compass.
